#ToVisitInUAE Quick Trip to Souq Madinat Jumeirah

Disclaimer: We had a limited time considering we are from RAK and doesn't want to reach peak travel time.

We were supposed to take bus going to Dubai but here we are, renting a car for convenience. Anyway, just a quick tip from RAK to Dubai, you need to go to RAK Main Bus Station and ride a bus from there which has 1 hour interval starting 7 AM and costs AED 35.


It will then drop you off at Union Station. Which is easier going to wherever in Dubai.

If we had lot of time, we were actually planning to stop by Dubai Mall as it along the way. But unfortunately, we do not have that free time.

Going back, ride Union Metro Station. Either the line last stop is EXPO or Al Fardan Exhange, it would work. But we recommend you to read the platform guide before riding.

Your stop could be Insurance Market or Mall of Emirates, and ride #81 Bus, and go down to Dubai Police Academy. As per us, we went down to Mall of Emirates and took Taxi going to Souq Madinat which cost us AED 19.50.

Then you have to walk going to Souq Madinat Jumeirah. Tip I got from Tiktok: Find the Costa Coffee and you will see the perfect spot to take a photo of/and with Burj Al Arab.

We also planned to go to Marsa Al Arab but since we are catching ride going to RAK, we weren't able to go to. But from Souq Madinat, you can walk around or take the #81 Bus again in same stop and go down Wild Wadi. Marsa Al Arab is a nice place to walk around with lots of coffee shop and a sea side.

You can also go directly to Dubai Mall using #81 Bus.

Going back, we took bus #81 from Burj Al Arab stop going to the Mall of Emirates. And from Mall of Emirates, we went back to Union.

We would always suggest to look at the maps as it has the most accurate timing and route of metro and bus. If you feel like you are lost, go to your maps and it has the way.
