Wow! Sipalay 💕


You will feel Nothing but happiness knowing that God still wake you up with a given strength. But you will also feel the joy knowing that you are in a place that gives you peace, with the sounds of the birds waking you up and the trees that gives a fresh wind. For our second day of stay in Sipalay, we woke up before 5 in the morning and decided to leave the house at 5:30 AM.



 The first in this day's itinerary is the Rock Hills View Park. The cool wind of the city greeted us, as well as the refreshing view the nature gives and the city's peaceful road. By only PHP 20, you can now see a very beautiful view of God's amazing works (PHP 10 for students, and free entrance fee for 8 years old below). The regular opening time of the park is 8 AM and closes at 5 PM. We got there early for we decided to eat breakfast on the said place. And to preserve the beauty of the park, it has some reminders:
  • No left overs and garbage
  • No vandalism
  • No alcoholic drinks
  • No picking of crystal stones and flowers
  • No littering
  • Beware of falling rocks

 It was a place of semi hiking for you have to climb the mountain before reaching the spot where you can see the mountains and the sea. I suggest you to bring water but they also have a mini-store inside the park. Aside from the attracting beauty of nature, there are also other things that added the beauty of the place. The Scriptural Steps is part of it. 

 It might be tiring reaching the top but these scriptures will motivate you and will remember how great and powerful our God is. Aside from the relaxing view, the best part for me is reading these scriptures. The place is newly renovated when we came so i bet it will still improve from time to time. By that time, the flowers may bloom and more scripture might be written in each steps (a sign that God is with us in every step that we take, just a thought after reaching the peak). It might be tiring and all, but it is all worth it. Seeing how beautiful God made these things is surely overwhelming, knowing that we are also one of His works. 

 Rock Hills View Park










Since it is peak season, we tried to reserve for the resort and roam around the city. As I said, riding or walking around the city enough especially when you enjoy the nature and appreciate every aspect of it. We rode in motorcycle and we felt the freshness of the air and the beauty of the greenly mountains. A simple road filled with trees is really beautiful and you can see the ocean when you reach the top of the mountain. The ocean that is as blue as the sky is really noticeable and it is relaxing seeing how calm the ocean is.

Aside from those observations above, I also noticed how the people do their living. "Sari sari store" can be seen anywhere, as well as different resorts. And when we say resorts, we will start with the well known, the Perth Paradise Resort.




The opening time of the said resort is from 6 AM - 6PM (it may be referring to the pool hours since the have check in and check out time). We weren't able to ask how much the room cost since we will really not stay there. We just went there to swim and has no intention to stay for the night. The entrance fee of the resort is PHP 80 while the pool feel is PHP 100. But if you will avail the room, entrance fee and the pool fee is not needed. They also offer different services. aside from the pool and different foods, they also offer Island Hopping, Banana Boat, Kayak, and Inflatable Raft.

A few pool rules was also given by the management such as:
  • Children below 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Diving and Running is not permitted inside the swimming pool.
  • Management is not liable for any loss of any valuables.
  • Shower first before swimming.
  • Guests swim at their own risk 
  • Use proper swimming attire
  • Person under influence of alcohol or drugs are not allowed to use the pool and garden


                   


We went to the said resort around 4 PM until 6 PM since we intended to see the sunset. The pool is located at the top of the resort so you have to climb a long stairs before reaching the pool. The cottages near the pool costs PHP 500 but we didn't avail one since we didn't bring anything but our clothes. Food from the outside is not allowed since they have store inside and you can order from it. Even though it's still hot by the time we came, we still enjoyed the peaceful scenery that can be seen in the place.


       











Aside from the Perth Paradise Resort, there is also another relaxing place to spend your day in Sipalay. Together with the accommodating staffs and beautiful scenery, you can really enjoy the C View Resort with just entrance fee of PHP 30. Both roads of the said resorts might be hard, but just as the saying says, difficult roads leads to beautiful destinations (and i think, they are trying to improve it). We inquire for the rooms but they don't have enough rooms for that day since its peak season. The room for 2 people costs PHP 1400 and PHP 2800. It may be pricey but it would be all worth it if you can appreciate the surroundings. If ever you don't want to stay in the resort, you can just pay for the entrance fee (not sure if swimming is included in the fee).
                 



C View Resort Amenities:
  • Native Nipa Hut Rental - PHP 500
  • Pedal Boat Rental - PHP 400 per hour
  • Water Bike Rental - PHP 200 per hour
  • Motorboat Rental - PHP 500 per hour
  • Floating Cottage (capacity: 30 persons) - PHP 2,000
  • Floating Cottage (small) - PHP 500
  • Island Hopping - PHP 1,700 (3 hours, 10 persons)

 When you say resort, Punta Ballo in Brgy 4 cannot be missed out. It is a place where resorts are just meters away from each other. Punta Ballo is said to be the next mini Boracay for its white sand. The boats rented for island hopping is also located at the said place. Some of the resorts includes restaurant in their business so you don't have to worry about the food. I suggest to eat a Hawaiian Pizza in Artistic Diving Resort, a delicious pizza that we all enjoyed.




Artistic Diving Resort is located at Brgy.4, Punta Ballo Beach, Sipalay City. We didn't had a chance to inquire for their rooms but I have read some reviews that they offer a really great service. But we had a chance to enter at their restaurant. The following are some food that they offer:
  • Ice Cream with different flavors (for PHP 60 per scoop)
  • Artistic Pizza (for PHP 250)
  • Hawaiian Pizza (for PHP 240)
  • Hamato Pizza (for PHP 230)
  • Vegetable Pizza (for PHP 230)
  • Vegetable Curry (for PHP 180 and PHP 140)
  • Fried Pasta (for PHP 110)
  • Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce (for PHP 150)
  • Zopf Bread - Homemade Bread and Side Dishes that ranges from PHP 95 - PHP 120
Entrance Fee are as follows:
  • for Non Check-in Guests - Free entrance to the Restaurant
  • for Non Restaurant Guests - PHP 50
  • Swimming Pool (Half Day - 4 Hours) - PHP 180
  • Swimming Pool (Whole Day - Until 7 PM) PHP 250
  • Shower or Changing Room Only - PHP 80 
We may not able to visit every resort in the city but we saw how everyone take care of our nature and how it was being preserved for us to appreciate it. The tag line of the city, says it all. Nothing left to say but Wow. A little reminder for everyone, these places were given to us perfectly so we must take care of it as best as we could. God made all of us a beautiful one, so let's not ruin His works but rather cherish it as much as He cherish us.
