KOREAN RESTAURANT HOPPING - Masizzim (Siam Square, Bangkok)

The boom of korean restaurants here in Bangkok is excessive that I sometimes don't understand why there are loads. And as korean food lover as I am, I always venture to find a new place to try. Last night, I met up with my friend (whom I last seen on September when we watched the concert) and she suggested to eat at this korean restaurant. We're both "everything korean" lovers so whenever we go out, expect that we''ll go for korean food.

The name is Masizzim. This restaurant has several branches in Seoul and other parts of the world and one is in Bangkok. Strategically located at Siam Square area that surely attracts students and foreigners. (No good photos because I don't think it's allowed)

The place is cozy, little bit small but there's not much people. It's comfortable enough that you can talk as much as you want. They have a total of 3 floors, 4-5 tables on the 1st floor which was on "reserved" when we arrived, the usual seats on the 2nd floor and toilet on the 3rd floor.

So as I said earlier, we've went to the mainstream korean restaurants in Bangkok and I find this one cheap and good. We paid THB 900 for 4 dishes in big sizes and even had to take home some because we're so full.

They serve several side dishes or you can say appetizer as I see it and it's refillable. You can grab for more. Price is reasonable compared to other korean restaurants we've tried.

Also, don't be fooled by the photos. I'm saying this in a positive way but it may look small, but it's huge. I ended up ordering 4 dishes because I thought they are all small servings.

These are Fried Dumplings, Pork Short Rib Stew, (their best seller, we order the smallest size), Fried Chicken with Mozarella cheese (which you should try), and the Chili Sauce Topokki (size M). I was quite disappointed because I ordered the Black Sauce Topokki but we got the chili sauce instead, we didn't bother to change and ask since it's served already and we can eat it anyway.

IT'S GOOD AND WORTH COMING BACK.
