Korea Trip 2014 - Day 3 (Everland, Hongdae)

It’s day 3 and we went to Everland.

So from Myeongdong station, we went to Gangnam and took the bus that will take us to Everland. The bus from Gangnam will not actually drop you in front of Everland but at the shuttle service pick-up. It's for free. Just queue with the kids and wait for you turn.

It is a kids park of course. As I have mentioned on my previous post, me being the all-excited kid, I made a thorough research on the places that we were going and lucky me because I found a discount coupon for our entrance tickets. Instead of paying 40,000(++) won per person, we just paid around 32,000 (++) won for everything. Which is a BIG SAVINGS since we have to eat inside too. So yah, kudos to myself hahaha :)

If you love taking pictures as much as I am, this is a good place to do so. Not just because it's vast space but the colors are so vibrant that you will just want to walk around and appreciate the beauty.

We roamed around, took the easy rides first and then we found our target. This is the famous T-Express which is named as the “steepest ride in the world” and what’s more? It’s made from woods. It was nerve-wrecking. I was so afraid and excited at the same time. This coaster is a no joke and I was about to back out before sitting. But even so, I still tried and it was worth it. Yah it’s scary but it was really fun. Note: I know everyone closes their eyes on this kind of rides, but after that high point, open your eyes, look at the people with you on the same ride, look at everything and you’ll just laugh and have fun. (I did the same!)

It was really fun but I got dizzy when we got off. I was laughing like crazy maybe because of the sudden burst of emotions during the ride. I swear it was like I’m high.

It was a hot sunny day (but you can’t compare their hot their to Thailand and Philippines’ hot day) and we walked around trying to find a good place to eat. We had to eat because we finished the scariest ride already They had a water parade and all kids were playing around. We can’t go near because we don’t have spare clothes.

We then walked to some of the parks’ attractions including this zoo and safari. It was all included in our ticket.

You can buy feeds for these little ones (love birds). Put it in your hand and they will all fly to you :)

We also watched this penguin show (for aircondition and to sit) and we were the only young adults you can spot around hahahaha

There was also this area where they let the birds fly in order. I don’t know how they do it but it was so fascinating.

Then head on to the safari where you’ll be riding a bus and see the wild animals. You will need to queue as well upon entering. Just be patient and wait for your turn.

We had a long day. We were at the park from 9am to 4pm.

This photo was so funny so I included it.

We head back to Seoul and since we were all tired, no one wants to roam around anymore. We dropped by at Hongdae just to eat some chicken and went back to Myeongdong. This is Kyochon chicken. We were just really tired to even choose where should we eat. Rating? Just okay for me. Not the total taste that I was expecting but price wise, it's cheap.

My other friend doesn’t want to come back yet so both us went to stroll at Myeongdong, AGAIN. (We walk at Myeondong everyday). We went to buy this loooong ice cream and it’s so messy. It melts so fast.

And again, hahahahahaha sorry this was my only happiness. At the second floor of Nature Republic in Myeongdong, they stacked all this standees and I just barged in and took a photo.
