Woot woot!! Full day of tour has finally come. We head out 8am (actually 9am) and had breakfast at the guesthouse first. It was a simple meal and you can ask more toast if you want. They will also serve a coffee of your choice.
We first went to Gwanghwamun Square then Gyeongbokgung Palace. Since its close to each other, might as well do it at the same day.

Ticket costs 3,000 Won for 1 palace only and as far as I have researched, you can purchase a package where you can go to the four palaces. It’s quite hard to distinguish where were we because we don’t have any tour guides. (correct me if i’m wrong)
I don’t remember us using the subway to go to Bukchon hanok Village after. After the palace, we went to the village and had some festive lunch at one of the restaurants in Samcheongdong. It was festive considering the number of side dishes served to us. Our table were so full so as our tummy :) I really love how they were able to preserve these architectural designs which distinguishes their culture.
These Koreans asked us to take a photo of them (not with them, but just them. they were touring around too) and we took a photo with them after.

We passed by at Insadong and bought some souvenir stuffs. If you really want to buy traditional Korean stuffs, you can grab it in this place. They are all lined up :)
My friends bought some ceramics at Insadong so we decided to head back to the guesthouse and rest for a while. In the afternoon, we climbed uphill from the guesthouse and Namsan tower was just there. Our Korean acquaintance, Mr. Shawn (who was our hotel guest in Bangkok) welcomed us in Seoul when we arrived and gave us tickets for the cable car and observatory. I’m still grateful to him and his wife’s hospitality.
You can actually purchase the tickets ahead of time since it has a validity period. From the cable car, you still have to climb few flight of stairs but it’s not bad since the weather is so nice to just walk,

I was wearing the thinnest clothes and it was cold and windy up above. I’m from Southeast Asia so might as well enjoy this kind of weather.

We didn’t bought locks because meh. We’re all single ladies hahahaha.. It was crowded though because it was the booming period of Do Min Joon and loads of tourists visited the place.

This elevator actually traveled 20 seconds from the observatory to the ground floor. JUST WOW!

The view was astonishing. From the morning till night. It was such a beauty.
We went back to Myeongdong street (it was great that I chose the place well) to have our dinner. And woohooo, the orignal pork wrap which I seldom eat in the Philippines and Thailand.
